genders should be treated equally in the work place genders are equal but they are also different. In saying this this shouldnt limit who gets the job. people should be hired based on their skills not their gender or race. Any gender should have the oppourtunity for any job. certain genders often tend to group together for certain jobs for example more men work construction how much of this is based off sterotypes and even if gender plays a role this shouldnt matter they should be treated equally a man in childcare or a woman in construction shouldnt be looked at in a strange way. also hiring shouldnt be based on gender even considering things like maternity leave etc there is no excuse.
Jonathan Marks: In Praise of Conflict It's the responsibility of governments to protect and promote the common good. Industry will act in interest of its self and and so will people. Industry, government and people are capable good as much as they are capable of bad. We understand the importance of conflict within the public sector. We also understand the importance of conflict within the private sector. We often don't understand or consider the importance of conflict between the two sectors. Why is this. while something may seem positive for both the public and private sector it can often end up in them harming one another.
